Rosy Gupta, has recently completed her Bachelor in Computer Science from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, India. During the summer 2015, she worked on real-time energy data mining as a MITACS Research fellow at University of New Brunswick (Canada). She has completed a diploma in business management from New Zealand in 2012.
Rosy has a broad spectrum of interests including large scale data analytics, data storage architectures and deep learning. Her project as a CERN openlab Summer Student with the IT-ST group involves modernizing the logging system of some of CERN's storage products, in particular by integrating them into the common framework provided by the IT department and by moving to new display technologies using django, kibana, elastic search and other technologies. She would like to make computers do more with less help from humans and learn from experience. She enjoys reading, travelling and exploring in her free time.
