Muhammad Umair

Muhammad Umair is a M.Sc. student  in Wireless Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm Sweden. He contributes actively in open source community. Umair has worked for Google Inc. Mountain View, USA in the past on an open source project where he implemented IPv6 support for Drizzle (http://www.drizzle.org) and published a white paper "IPv6 in Drizzle". He has also published his research work on "Automatic Frequency Planning and Optimization Algorithm for Cellular Networks" in World Congress on Engineering 2012. Umair had been selected for CERN Openlab summer student programme 2012. Currently he is a member of CERN Openlab team and working on building a benchmark code and result repository web portal for CERN storage evaluation.
