Kyriaki is a graduate student in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in Greece. She holds a Bachelor in Computer Science and Telecommunications, from the same Department. Furthermore, since January 2012, she is working as an assistant researcher in Pervasive Computing Research Group on Primary Task of Decision Support System (DSS) involving: Polygonal Spatial Clustering, Graph Partitioning, Grid Based Partitioning, Voronoi Polygon Based Methods and Multi-criteria Analysis. She has a keen interest in working with problems in Pervasive Computing, e.g. clustering, balancing load, resource scheduling, situation awareness and work decomposition. During her stay in CERN, she aims to explore the Database as a Service (DBaaS) paradigm using the features provided by Oracle Enterprise Manager in combination with other levels of the Oracle software stack, like the Oracle Database and Oracle VM.
