CERN Accelerating science

Georg Jahn

Role(s):
Summer Student

After receiving his Bachelor degrees in Computer Science and Physics in 2011 at the University of Göttingen (Germany), Georg started his Master studies in both subjects. Additionally, he tries to get hands-on experience in several internships and international student programs like the openlab summer student program, which fascinates him by the combination of computational challenges and scientific motivation. Georg's topics of interest in computer science include machine learning, algorithm development, user interfaces and graphical design; in physics, he has put the focus of his studies on particle physics and computational physics. The project he is working on at CERN develops tools for the DMLite library.
