CERN Accelerating science

Ahmad Hesam

Ahmad Hesam holds a BSc degree in Applied Physics and is currently a MSc student in Computer Engineering at the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. His primary research interest is Big Data computing architectures and the integration of reconfigurable computing systems therein. His quest to work with the world’s most advanced computer technology led him to CERN. As a CERN openlab student he is integrating CERN’s Big Data framework (ROOT I/O) into a brain simulation program to make the outputs persistent.
